Alan Modesto Adarna, an influential businessman who owns several hotels in Cebu, Davao and Manila and is the father of actress Ellen Adarna, passed away last Thursday, May 31, 2018 due to cardiac arrest in Cebu City at the age of 58. His remains now lie at the Cosmopolitan Memorial Chapels, Inc. in Mandaue, Cebu City; where the family has requested for privacy and is not allowing the media for interviews. The family cited that they want to keep further details of his death confidential while they are settling bank matters. According to them, the burial of his remains is set on Friday, June 8 at the Queen City Memorial Gardens.
